Salt Marshes & Freshwater Habitats

There are a number of different salt and freshwater habitats all over Bald Head Island, and we are not counting the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Fear River! Our island also offers freshwater lagoons & ponds and salt marshes and creeks. Having so many different types of bodies of water opens us up to an endless list of mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, and more that call these aquatic habitats their homes.
